It comes as no surprise that an independent career move is something highly sought after in UAE. A recent survey conducted by cites that nearly half the respondents chose independent work for personal fulfillment while the liberty to pick what to work on and the ease of recalibrating the balance between work and life remain popular reasons for giving up a company job.

Factors such as average internet speeds, cost of living, cost of starting a business, income tax, transportation facilities, and even the cost of a cup of coffee were taken into consideration to determine how fit a country is in terms of being host to the entrepreneurial community.

New business boosts Dubai's private sector to three-month high
