Dubai International Airport - The ambitious
US$540 million expansion programme at the Dubai International
Airport, initiated by the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation in
1998, has resulted in the completion and opening of the spectacular
new Sheikh Rashid Terminal. The futuristic 118,000 square meter concourse, 800
meters in length and comprising five levels, has been
designed to meet the expanding needs of travelers and airlines well
into the new millennium. |

Emirates Towers - Designed for a Modern
Business Community Soaring high above Dubai's central business
district, Emirates Towers is a remarkable tribute to the region's
corporate success - a striking vision of commercial excellence based
on attention to detail, self-confidence, maximum efficiency and bold
strides. The 51-storey towers are connected by the Emirates Towers
Boulevard, where spacious walkways and sky-lit courtyards house a
range of elegant boutiques and shops, restaurants and coffee shops.
|

Gold & Diamond Park in Dubai - The
three-storey development, which makes up Phase One of the park, is
already fully let, with 118 manufacturers and thirty retailers
operating there. As the park is an extension of the Jebel Ali Free
Zone, the manufactures and retailers are able to benefit from lower
operating costs, and in turn this gives the opportunity to compete
in international markets |

Global Village - Dubai Festival City, being
developed by Al Futtaim Investments is a key sponsor of the Dubai
Shopping Festival 2002 and is the host of Global Village. Global
Village is one of the main attractions of the DSF, where the
international community is encouraged to come together to display
their culture and heritage through exhibitions of traditional
handicrafts, clothing, music and dance. |

Heritage Village - Situated in the Shindagha
area near the creek mouth the Heritage Village has been created
where potters and weavers display their art. The village provides a
glimpse of Dubai's traditional culture and lifestyle. The village is
close to the site of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum's
House. |

Dubai National Museum - The Museum is
located in Al Fahidi Fort which is one of the most ancient
historical Buildings in Dubai. It is one of Dubai's oldest building.
It was built as a fort for sea defense, and the importance of the
Fort increased with the expansions which were built during the era
of the Late Sheikh Maktoum Bin Buti 1833-l852 which added most of
the architectural features which are still existing up to now.
|

Palm Island Dubai - Dubai has unveiled plans
for a palm tree-shaped resort island on land reclaimed from the sea
that will add 120 kilometers of sandy beaches and be visible from
the moon. "Palm Island" will include 2,000 villas, up to 40 luxury
hotels, shopping complexes, cinemas and the Middle East's first
marine park, said Sultan bin Sulayem, chairman of Dubai Palm
Developers. |

The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) -
was
built by the late H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed al Maktoum, Vice
President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai. The DWTC
also considered to be one of Dubai's premier landmark properties and
business locations. The Trade Centre Tower is one of the tallest
buildings in the Arabian Gulf. |

Dubai Zoo - Located in Jumeirah, the Dubai
Zoo is a popular attraction, especially for families. The zoo's
modern facilities though small, house many indigenous Arabian
species, including the Arabian Wolf, which is no longer found in the
wild, Gordon's Wildcat and the world's only captive breeding colony
of Socotra Cormorants. |

Burj AL Arab - or Arabian Tower is the
ultimate symbol of Dubai's determination to be a world-beater. The
stunning property has already become an internationally recognizable
landmark and has the distinction of being declared the world's
tallest hotel. Burj Al Arab's sail shaped structure, which soars 321
meters above the Arabian Gulf, is taller than Eiffel Tower Paris and
just 60 meters shorter than New York's Empire State Building.
