| Rak Ftza invites investment from India |
The Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone Authority (Rak Ftza) has visited India in a bid to attract more investment from the country.
According to the firm, Johnson Modayil, Rak Ftza legal advisor, led a series of presentations on the investment options available with the company at an event in Mumbai.
The management behind the free zone said it offers overseas investors a flexible and low-cost investment opportunity during a time in which saving money has become increasingly important.
Oussama El Omari, chief executive officer and director general of Rak Ftza, stated: "By reaching out to countries with business establishments and organisations always on the lookout for expansion opportunities, we are tapping into a market that will bring in more mutually beneficial trade not only to Ras Al Khaimah but to the whole United Arab Emirates."
He added that the presentations from the firm are to continue in India, stopping at New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Chandigarh.
Meanwhile, Rak Ftza recently launched a new web portal for investors. |
