HFZ Chief receives Japanese
Consul
Director General of Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah (HFZ) Rashid Al Liem reviewed
with Japanese Consul General Kunji Saito investment opportunities offered by the HFZ to its clients especially the Japanese investors and businessmen who take the zone as a gateway to Middle East and Gulf markets.
They exchanged views on best ways to enhance joint investment cooperation. Services, incentives and facilities provided to potential investors were also discussed.
The HFZ chief and his guest toured different departments and sections in the zone.
According to Al Liem, the zone is considered one of the fastest growing zones in the region, hosting 1700 companies from 103 countries in a record time.
''Last year, the zone saw a growth rate of 40 per cent and its total area under new expansions rose to 22 million square meters,''he added. |
