| ADCB appoints H.E. Saeed Mubarak Rashid Al Hajeri as Chairman |
| ADCB announced the appointment of H.E. Saeed Mubarak Rashid Al Hajeri as its new Chairman effective immediately. |

He will succeed H.E. Fadhel Saeed Al Darmaki, who has served ADCB since it was established in 1985.
Speaking about this appointment, H.E. Saeed Mubarak Rashid Al Hajeri said:
I am greatly honoured by this appointment and having worked closely with H.E. Fadhel Saeed Al Darmaki over the past few years as a member of the board, I wish to extend my personal and professional gratitude to him. He has guided ADCB through an impressive transition with the assistance of ADCB board members and the dynamic management team, and has laid the foundation for a very exciting future for the bank. I am looking forward to continuing the momentum and progress achieved thus far and leading ADCB into its next era of development.'
H.E. Saeed Al-Hajeri graduated in Business Administration from Lewis and Clark College (USA). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has attended the Executive Education Programme at the Harvard Business School.
In addition to this appointment, H.E. Saeed Mubarak Rashid Al Hajeri is also a
- Director in the European Equity Department of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) following a 5 year tenure in ADIA's London office
- member of ADIA's strategy group and represents (ADIA) on the boards of the Abu Dhabi Investment Company (ADIC)
- board member of the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (HCSEZ) and Dubai Cable Company (DUCAB).
