The UAE textile industry with export of Dh. 12 billion
is growing rapidly & is poised to become the largest
trading sector after the oil industry in the UAE.
The demand for textiles has led to the development
of Dhs. 220 million. Dubai Textile City, which will
be a free zone, thus this will increase the trading
and make the textile industry a flourishing business.
The Textile City will be located at Awir and is scheduled
to be completed by October 2005.
